How CapyMail Uses Your Google Data
CapyMail is a Google Sheets add-on that requests access to your Google account only to perform the mail merge actions you start. Here is exactly what each permission is used for:
Google Sheets
CapyMail reads the rows of the spreadsheet you open it in — recipient names, email addresses, and your custom columns — to fill dynamic tags like {{Name}}, and writes merge status (Sent, Opened) back into your tracking columns. It only accesses the current spreadsheet, never your other files.
Gmail
CapyMail sends the personalized emails you compose, from your own Gmail account, only when you click Send or schedule a campaign. It does not read your inbox, contacts, or existing messages.
Google Drive
When you put a Drive link or file ID in an attachment column, CapyMail fetches that specific file to attach it to the matching recipient’s email. It never browses, scans, or modifies the rest of your Drive.
CapyMail runs entirely inside your Google Workspace environment. Your spreadsheet data, email content, and attachments are never transferred to, stored on, or sold via any external server.
